Graduate

It's the end of another era over here. Marlo graduated from pre-school! They had a little program and social hour Friday then we walked out of that daycare for the very last time. After 8 YEARS of daycare.



The kids walked into the room and got into place then we experienced a miracle. Marlo opened her mouth and began the whole program by singing a SOLO. Never in a million years would I have guessed Marlo would sing in front of a group of adults -- much less a solo on the very first number?! She did awesome. We were so proud.

She wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

It was a cute program and these kids are going to miss each other next year. They are all sweet, sweet kids.







Adios Jardin!



Yesterday we got to meet our new baby cousin Clare! Kasper LOOOOOOOOOVES babies.














The kids are now up at Grandma Sandra's for most of this week! Summer is almost over! Crazy! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Breather

We had a rare weekend of relaxation. It was nice after the busy August we've had so far.

The kids had a carnival at Explorers this week. The older kids made games and the younger kids played. It's so cute.




Yesterday we had doughnuts in Excelsior then went for a bike ride/run.








This season we're in with the kids has major benefits. It's fun to do things with them.

We had one small accident (Marlo's knee) but she got back on the bike and finished the ride.



Another thing we can do now more than before - go out to dinner! We went to a new restaurant by our house and had a great meal! We celebrated with a malt.


Today we had brunch at the Snows house then finished up our chores. Kasper asked me to play a game this afternoon which I don't think has ever happened before. We played Guess Who and had a great time.

He's a really, really funny and clever kid when he feels like talking. He had me in stitches. And THEN he put on a magic show. The kid's just a hoot!

Lost Lake

What a fun week we had!

On Tuesday Rob took the kids to the Twins game.

















Don't know if they watched the game but they sure ate well!

Thursday we headed up to lake country. Stopping to play mini golf.













We made it to the cabin in time for dinner.

We had breakfast at Grandview Lodge and walked their grounds a bit.


Rob got this toy at the Nisswa Crazy Days and it was addicting to play. You have to get all the circles lined up.





















Kasper would wake up early and fish with Grandpa down on the dock.
