Memorial Day!
I think I forgot to include these pics from last Sunday. Marlo can often be found washing her hands in the bathroom. She went through a bottle of soap in the last couple weeks.

Happy Monday!

Happy Tuesday!

Very into dresses.

After I left for work, Marlo somehow got into her sparkly moccasins and undies. She brought the undies to school to show her teachers. She is 0% of the way to potty trained.

Dr. Williams starting a shift.

I just love this girl.

Kasper started t-ball this week! He loved it!

Notice the naughty sister. Rob and I took turns being dragged to the playground during t-ball because Marlo didn't want to watch.

Trying her smoothie in a cup instead of a sippy. It went well except for the smoothie mustache.

We had plans to go up to stay with friends on the Iron Range this weekend but made the last minute decision Thursday to stay home due to a rainy forecast. It was disappointing but in the end it was 100% the right choice. Rob had already taken Friday afternoon off so he picked up Kasper and they went to an arcade type place and had a great time.

I picked Marlo up and she was excited to take a turn on the DJ table.

Saturday morning Rob went up to do the Apple Duathlon which he does every year. He did great and won his age group!

The kids and I stayed home and inside since it was raining.

Marlo loves taking pictures. Mostly of me probably as payback.

Since we weren't going to be gone, we made plans with Steph and Tim to do an escape room. It was SO FUN! There are usually up to 10 people in a group and you get an hour to solve puzzles and get out of a room. We had 4 and solved it with a minute left! The girl in charge seemed pretty impressed. I would highly recommend it.

Yesterday was beautiful! We stopped for doughnuts and coffee and went for a nice walk.

We spent a lot of time in a rocky parking lot pushing the stroller through puddles and throwing rocks into them. Whatever works.

Marlo suffered a fall.

There is a cool army junkyard on the walk.

We stopped for groceries and then at a playground. Kasper made friends with another little girl there and they played tag. Marlo wasn't interested.

Kappy's buddy

Today was INCREDIBLE! It definitely felt like summer. It was our first breakfast on the deck. Marlo "helped" by cleaning the table and chairs.

We decided we needed to get to the beach so we called Steph and Tim and found one.

Kasper immediately found a friend and played with her most of the time.

Lunch mouth.

Dizzy.

Sleepy Marlo

We got home in time for a late nap. Both kids were barely able to stay awake on the drive home. Kasper demanded his light be kept on because he was NOT tired.

Rob and I found chores to do outside so we could take advantage of the amazing day while both kids recharged. I had to wake Marlo up after 3 hours - I'm not sure how long she would've slept! We grilled kebobs, ate on the deck and had ice cream sandwiches for dessert. The perfect Memorial Day.
Marlo's preferred way to have her teeth brushed - hugging her Mama.

Hope everyone had a great long weekend!
