I'm going to have to make this one quick tonight! I'm getting a late start!

We had a fun week! Marlo and Papa enjoyed a beer.

Kasper and I went to the dentist. He did so well again! He is such a sweet boy and followed all the directions. He totally made himself at home.

He has 20 teeth now - his 2 year molars broke through since we were there last.

Rob dropped Marlo off at daycare before bringing Kasper to the dentist so we stopped at Panera for a bagel before heading to work and school. This kid is such a pleasure to hang out with.

I filmed myself going in to get Marlo one morning. It's one of my favorite parts of the day. She is usually patiently waiting in her bed for someone to come and get her. She knows we're downstairs when we let the dog out and she starts getting excited. When she finally sees you she just looks so glad. I love it.


Bathtime! Marlo suffered a nose wound reading a book at school.













Yesterday Kasper was invited to his first birthday party! Can you believe it?? A classmate of his turned 4 and had a big party with a bounce house and tons of toys. Kasper totally played by himself for the first 45 minutes over in a corner which was a little weird. The birthday boy and another daycare buddy finally got him to go in the bounce house. After that he was fully acclimated to the new group. He is SO not into jumping into a foreign situation. Even though he's good friends with some of the kids, the rest of the kids were enough to deter him. I'm happy he worked through it.


They were so cute sitting here eating their cake. They were chatting and laughing and it was amazing. He's a real boy!

Rob got up SUPER early this morning to race in a duathlon. (He ended up placing in the top 20 out of almost 1000 racers!) I got to hang out with the kids this morning. Mornings are generally a pretty sweet time around here. This morning was no different.



A Marlo and Lois toy swap!


My parents and Steph and Tim came over this afternoon to celebrate Steph's birthday! It was SO hot and humid out - my Mom brought a slip and slide for Kasper to play on.


This video makes me laugh so hard. The slow mo makes the voices sound hilarious.
