Back to Normal!
Kasper started off the week at home with Papa. He was feeling better and passed the night with no issues on Sunday night. Monday morning he just wasn't feeling 100% so Rob stayed home with him so he could rest. I think they watched movies and went to Smashburger for lunch. Just what the Dr ordered!

Staying home with Kasper meant Rob could go to swimming with Kasper to watch him dive for rings!

Kasper was feeling back to normal by Monday night so he drew over 300 grapes and practiced his spelling.

Brush brush!

Wednesday was Kasper's last day of swimming lessons for this round. He had SO much fun! I think swimming is the activity he likes the most. He ended up learning to go under water and dive for things in the last 4 weeks. It's so awesome!
Marlo is still wearing her stroller most of the time she's at home. Sometimes she gets Kasper to push her in it.

Friday night Monopoly!

Kasper was nice enough to bail out his Uncle Tim this round so we could keep playing. Such a fun game and perfect for a 5 year old.
We had a lazy day yesterday and it was wonderful! Pancakes and strollers for breakfast.

Followed by some tickling

(Lois is unimpressed.)
Eventually the clothes came off and the legos came out.

This girl seems to be getting bigger/older by leaps and bounds these days. She TALKS. A LOT. And you can understand her! No new teeth - she's still at 6 front teeth and 4 molars. NO interest AT ALL in using the potty. None.

I love her, I love her, I love her.

It's been a GORGEOUS weekend so I asked the kids if they were interested in a walk. Think Marlo was into it?

Then Kasper volunteered to help her get dressed. He is an incredibly sweet brother to her most of the time.

It felt amazing to get outside again!

We ran into Papa who was running some errands with a Home Depot truck. That was a highlight of Kasper's day for sure.

We woke Marlo up around 5 pm. She wasn't ready to get up yet.

Cuties

Rob went out with friends last night so I was in charge of bath time.

I took this video to show Rob. It's much longer but I'll include a minute here. They were doing their own thing for a long time and it was so cute.

Kasper grabbed a kids knife to help Marlo separate her Oreo.
Both kids were up before 6:30 this morning which is less than optimal. We were all on our own for breakfast this morning.

There they go!

Holy cow kids are flexible.

Why don't they ask for kisses when their mouths are clean?

We went over to Steph and Tim's for brunch which was delicious! Kasper and Marlo got to play with Grace and Jack. Kasper and Grace are good friends and it's fun to watch them play.

Kasper decided not to sleep and instead smeared Aquaphor onto his nightstand. Now, is he the 5 year old or the 2 year old?? Grandpa Steve and Carol came over for dinner tonight and Kasper made Carol run laps around the dining room.
Now they're in bed. Thankfully. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
