March Madness!
Happy March Madness everyone! We've been watching a lot of basketball around here lately so it's always on the mind. We had a fun week! This was a week when I really felt Kasper growing up. I tried to be aware of him more than usual because I feel these "baby" days just slipping away. This explains the number of photos I took of my boy this week. Spoiler alert - it's a lot.
Kasper has been more and more content to play in his toy corner by himself for longer periods of time. This has come in handy for dinner prep.
Wondering when the snow will finally melt.
While we haven't officially started potty training, Kasper has taken the lead on beginning the process. He is very good at going potty before his bath and after diaper changes. He doesn't tell us before he has to go. He goes about 4-5 times a day on the potty. As soon as he's done he jumps up and runs to the kitchen screaming "I DID IT!!!" while whooping and hollering and jumping up and down. I love the enthusiasm and we do our best to keep it up. Getting an M & M helps.
Discussing the number of chocolates he got
So proud
Do you not just die over the knobby knees and skinny legs?
Bothering the dog one morning
I had the day off Friday for Spring Break and enjoyed my free day to do anything I wanted. This included meeting my sister and FUTURE BROTHER-IN-LAW for lunch after their engagement! Friday night we met our friends for dinner at a Mpls restaurant we've been wanting to try while Grandma Sandra babysat. Kasper showed her how to play with the moving box. Haha! Still a favorite toy.
Yesterday afternoon was a lazy one. We ran a couple errands then played around until nap time.
Kasper and I took pictures of each other.
This is what most of Kasper's pictures look like off his camera.
Hahahahahahahaha! I laugh when I upload pictures from his camera.
Playing crow
Waiting for Papa to get the teddy bear
The big smiles are for when Papa walked in like this:
Trying to zip up his zipper. THOSE LEGS...
Potty try before nap (hence the paci).
Whoo Hoo!!!!
He'll kill me for this picture but I was on my knees taking the pictures and cheering so he went down on his knees as well. I can't get enough of those legs.
Going for the chocolates
After his nap, Kasper had some milk while I swooned over his eyelashes...
Then went outside to have an abenture with Papa. I think I heard that there are still 7 inches of snow on the ground. There are at least enough to make it hard for a toddler to walk across the yard.
Looking in a rabbit warren.
So much independent play lately.
I think it's about time for a professional haircut.
Today was kind of more of the same. I had to take his pjs off at breakfast because of a yogurt incident and wrapped him in a dish towel which of course he thought was hilarious and asked to look at it in a mirror. This kid is hilarious.
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Minnesota is out of the tournament as of tonight. Bummer. Maybe next year!
