MAN this week flew by. Like I took zero pictures the entire week which has never happened. Somehow the 2 kids in 2 different places adds SO MUCH TIME to our morning and afternoon routines.
I'll keep it quick. Kasper continues to adjust to school. His biggest hurdle has been making friends and joining in and by the end of this week that was starting to click, thankfully. I went to the school Tuesday for curriculum night and sat in Kasper's tiny chair. It was helpful to get more info about kindergarten as a parent and it's been an adjustment for us as well.
Marlo had a fine week. She's been less dramatic lately which has been more pleasant. I didn't say NO drama but there is less. Her biggest source of drama involves her CLOTHES. She wants to wear one "nightdown" 100% of the time and if she can't wear the nightgown she wants to be in a skirt. It's cooling off here but leggings and long sleeves are not an option without major tantrums. Kasper did the same stuff at this same age. She is also working hard on using the toilet and that is going very well.
It rained most of the day yesterday so we had to make our own fun. That involved putting together these bricks we got from one of Rob's co-workers. (That's the nightgown.)

Eventually I had to take Marlo to Target because she was knocking everything down and bothering her brother.

These blocks are old school but they are so awesome. The kids have been playing with them non-stop.
We had dinner at our friends' house which is awesome because the adults drink and eat, the boys play the Wii and the girls sit with the adults and eat chips. Our kids discovered the joy of Snatchat filters.

We don't use it so this was new and super fun!
This morning it rained AGAIN but there was a small window of sun. We took full advantage and got outside for a walk and a trip to the playground.

Marlo is so fast. It's incredible.

Pouting boy in the back.

This is what she looks like when she really wants to cry.

The rest of the day was a mix of football, rain, rain and bike rides, preschool tears and soup.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
