We started the week with just the one boy! Marlo throughly enjoyed herself at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Here is her to do list.

When Rob picked her up she was so sad to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa!

Yesterday we met Grandpa Steve and Carol for brunch then ran some errands. Kasper had a sleepover last night. Today we did some chores and cooking to prep for a bday/father's day party we had here!

Happy Father's Day!

We're easing into summer over here. To have the whole summer spread out in front of us is so exciting.

Kasper spent the beginning of the week at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They went fishing, helped a neighbor plant her garden, ate steak, and ran (around) a lemonade stand!







He made $9!


Marlo missed her brother but made her own fun.


Kasper went to Explorers Club the second half of the week and had a blast playing with his good buddies.

We met friends for a movie yesterday.


This morning I met my Mom to drop off her next houseguest. MARLO will stay with Grandma and Grandpa for a couple days! Hope they're ready for noise!

Rob and Kasper went on a fun adventure today.

It's different having just Kasper home! His sister is just so loud and demanding. He is enjoying his time in the spotlight. I brought some dishes inside from the deck where we had dinner. When I came back, I stumbled onto this. Cracked me up. It's through the screen but I didn't want to ruin his flow.

Summatime

It's here! Summer!

Kasper had his last day of school Thursday.



Rob and Kasper rode bikes home on the last day.


Grandma Sandra hung out with Kasper Friday and stayed with us Friday night. We woke up yesterday and headed to the Arboretum. It was the most perfect day.



The yellow lady slippers were blooming! The showy lady slippers were a ways behind.








Marlo and I met Steph, Tim and Harriet at a splash pad by our house. Marlo was not interested in playing.

Until it was almost time to go home when she decided she was having the best time ever.

I ended up taking her back to the splash pad in the afternoon and she played and ran around for TWO hours! Mostly all by herself!




She even splashed in the lake.


The kids were so beat last night they went to bed without stories. It was a long, hot day. Today is about 20 degrees cooler and cloudy. A good day for errands. Marlo and I dropped Kasper off with my Mom so he can spend the next couple days with my parents.

Marlo missed her brother.
