Our first week of online school: DONE! It was both as bad and not nearly as bad as I expected. The days are long and require quite a bit of help from me to keep both kids mostly on schedule. They are required to check in every morning as a way to take attendance then have all their work in by 3. Marlo needs a lot of help and has quite a bit of free time. Kasper is working, nose to the grindstone, from 8:40 - 3:20 every day. I am so proud of his first week of distance learning. He rocked it. He says he really likes doing school this way compared to going to class. Both of them enjoy the break from Spanish all day long. It may change as the newness wears off, but we had a great first week.
Thankfully this week was pretty nice so we got to take walks after school and play outside a bunch. As always, we thanked ourselves for the hot tub.

This was day 2 of online school. It's the exact moment Kasper dropped his tablet (basically the hub of his schooling) off the deck.

There it goes!

So day 2 involved a trip to Costco for a new iPad so Kasper could continue with his schoolwork
Marlo had to make music with kitchen instruments for music class. She was so not into it at first then we couldn't get the bowls away from her.

Here she is in PE

In addition to trying his hardest at school, Kasper is also loving online tae kwon do and giving it his best. (Note the "drum set" in the foreground)

A little bit of snow to kick off Thursday morning.

We decided to do our Easter egg hunt yesterday because it was a BEAUTIFUL 60 degree sunny day.

Rob and Marlo made a hot wheels track. You have to watch this one.

After that beautiful day yesterday, this was our Easter today.

Cold, 6' of snow, no family to celebrate with, failed caramel rolls, prepackaged Krispy Kreme cinnamon bun from Walgreens, ham.

We'll get 'em next year, team. At least the Easter bunny found us and brought new video games.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
