Boring

We've been boring lately! School, work, activities, errands. Nothing wrong with that, I guess.

Kasper made a cool creature vessel in art class. It's a tiger. 

 

He's also taken to doing lego sets to help him fall asleep. Weird choice but ok.

 

The kids had a cute moment before bed tonight.

Winter

 We're settling in to winter. Kasper started ski club this week. He had to try on his winter stuff. We had to get new skis and boots but the rest fits! We always call him golden legs on the slopes - it's easy to spot him. 

 

Marlo helping me get out the door in the morning. 

 

Marlo started swimming lessons again this week and Rob and Kasper got haircuts and burgers. He's looking so old! 

Kasper had a band concert. 

We had a mostly chill long weekend! We got outside, did some chores, Marlo helped me make arepas.

 

We're settling back into post-holiday life. Yay. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

2023

 We were supposed to get back on schedule this week! Mother Nature had other ideas and we got like a foot of snow the day the kids went back Tuesday so they cancelled school Wednesday. It was pretty, though. 

Rob turned 43 on Thursday so we went out to eat! The kids were almost civilized. 

 

This weekend was low key. We've had a busy last few weeks. We're ready to face the first full week of 2023!

2022/2023

We basically just hang on to our butts the last week of the year. 

Marlo turned 9. It got very cold. 

We did as little as possible over Christmas break. 

 

The kids had the Home Alone house as their advent calendar this year.

   

Santa came and brought the kids exaclty what they wanted. We went up to St. Cloud Christmas afternoon.

 

We had a house full of kids on New Years Eve which was fun. Kasper had some buddies there to wish him a happy birthday at midnight!

     

Pancake breakfast to start 2023.

   

Big 12 year old! Suffering through his birthday after staying up SUPER late the night before. Oof.

 

The kids were blessed with lots of new Lego sets. We busted some out as we prepared to reset for the start of school again. Christmas break is quite the adventure.

   

Tomorrow we head back to the real world! And it's going to snow! Yay. Hope everyone had a great New Years!
