CA Pt. 4

We had a low key week so let's use this Sunday to finish up that vacation we took back in June! 

We got up early in the morning and drove right to the Happiest Place on Earth. 

We started our day at California Adventure.

   

The very first place we went was one of our very favorites - Cars Land!

   

They had professional photographers around that would take your picture and upload it!

   

We hopped back and forth from California Adventure and Disneyland for the rest of the day. It was SO MUCH FUN. I think we were all surprised by how much we enjoyed Disneyland.

   

One of the best parts we got to see by accident! Kasper wanted to get a shirt from Cars Land towards the end of the night. As we were buying it, they yelled "Go outside! The lights are turning on!" If you've seen the movie, they turn on the lights at night in the exact same way with the same music. It was awesome.

 

Kasper had one souvenir he wanted SO BAD. A caricature of him and his sister. He insisted on it. It turned out so awesome.

   

 The next morning we hung out by the hotel pool until it was time to go home!

     

 And then we headed home! It was a fantastic trip and we really covered some ground!

Lost Lake

We made our annual trip up to Lost Lake this weekend! 

The kids actually spent the beginning of the week at Grandma Sandra's where they all got into lots of trouble, of course. We all met up at Lost Lake on Thursday and had a great time. 

The weather was nice for the most part and the kids had the BEST time playing in the lake. 

 

 We managed to make it into town to hit up some Crazy Days sales.

   

 And play Mexican Train.

And get some loving rest.

   

 The lake is the best part. And they still have all the toys to play with.

   

 Oh we also got the kids to go on a hike.

 

Another successful trip!

CA Pt. 3

We had a pretty average week so let's return to California, shall we??

Monday we rented a couple Duffy boats and motored around Balboa Island. 

 

 By the time we had to return the boats it was sunny and we got to enjoy the beach!

   

It was such a fun day! The kids had so much fun driving the boats, playing at the beach, exploring the tide pools. We had a wonderful dinner at restaurant and smores on the beach. This was our last day with the group because the next day, bright and early, we headed towards Anaheim.
