First full week
I won't leave you in suspense. Kasper's first full week of school went perfectly! He's been working extra hard at making friends but as he inherited his friend making skills from me, I totally get it. He played by himself at recess the first few days of the week then cried because he said no one asked him to play and he just didn't know how to ask the groups of kids if he could play with them. Break my heart. I suggested he ask "What are we playing" instead of asking permission and he played with kids the rest of the week.
Loving on Sissy before school Monday.

Thankfully he still had his best friend waiting at home for him everyday. They are thick as thieves lately. It's amazing.

This friend hasn't looked back as far as potty training goes. She stays dry all day and poops in the toilet. I didn't spend a whole lot of time worrying about her delay but in the last week I was thinking it was time to start focusing on it. She must've sensed it and made it her decision. Her teachers said when they wait until the bitter end the process is fairly painless. So far very true. She is in a diaper for naps and bed and wakes up fairly wet.

If she's home, she's pants-less.
I picked up Kasper first one day and Marlo pert near lost her mind.

Family walk on a beautiful night.

Found this guy hanging out on the ceiling. KASPER.

Yesterday Kasper and I went to a birthday party at my cousin's house. Her son turned 7 and had a bounce house! Kasper played until he was exhausted.
My dinner date. Wearing the nightgown she wore every single night this week and the entire day yesterday. Pick your battles, they say.

(And that's still the rubber robot stuck to the ceiling.)
Partners in crime. This is a small portion of a longer, hilarious video.

Today we hung around the house. Kasper and Rob started building a fort in the lilac bush. Marlo "helped" for a bit then I took her on a walk.

It was a beautiful day today.

Pigpen personified.

Also, does anyone remember candy necklaces making such a sticky mess of your neck, face and hair??

We had a good, quiet week. Such a treat! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
