Race to the finish
Monday Rob had the day off and I took it off so we could have some landscaping meetings. We had to figure out the final grading around the property, removal of a tree, and bringing in a few new steps to finish the stairway up to the upper patio.
We also got cabinet hardware! Which meant the missing cabinet doors came in! Bathroom mirrors also went in and the most of the rest of the lighting.
The next day the fireplace was finished and closets went in!
We were there late one night dropping off tvs and got to enjoy the fireflies. The wetland is FULL of them!
Then the next day it was driveway and tech!
We've started packing up the apartment! Marlo said she'd help but mostly colored instead. The kids will be gone most of this week so they had to say goodbye to their room as they know it.
Today we went up near St. Cloud for a disc golf tournament! We got to see our favorite players and got lots of signatures. The kids did so well the entire round. I don't think there was a single complaint.
The winner of the women's round!
Our favorite player Simon!
The winner of the men's round!
Disc golf's most famous dog Hogan.
Whew! What a week! By this time next week we should be in our new house. Isn't that WILD?? Cross your fingers for us!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
