December!

December?? Moving on...

I took Kasper to Tae Kwon Do Monday. He continues to really enjoy it! Marlo and Papa have fun Monday nights while we're gone.




I took the kids for flu shots one night after work. I told Kasper when I picked him up and he sobbed all the way to Marlo's daycare. By the time we got back out to the car he was done and didn't shed a tear. It took about 10 minutes to check us all in for some unknown reason and of course after we got checked in and were next in line, Marlo had to poop. Oh life with kids.


Would you believe no tears were shed at the clinic at all? And they both wanted to watch the needle. Even I didn't watch.

We had a "Friendsgiving" yesterday afternoon with Rob's college friends which was really fun. There were 9 kids there - many of them we had never met! The kids played remarkably well together and Kasper developed a pretty serious crush on one of the girls. He wistfully wished he could see her again all the way home.

The Dads are drinking beer while the kids throw frozen tomatoes at a pane of window glass. Because DADS.

The kids didn't get a nap and played hard so were "pretending" to be pretty sleepy on the drive home. Even though it was about 6 pm, they were definitely not pretending.


This morning Kasper came running into our room to tell us it snowed! What a fun surprise! Marlo was more circumspect.

Oh! Marlo drew a dog. You see it, right?


We had to get outside and play in it.

This afternoon we got our tree! I had dreams of going to a cut-your-own place but there weren't any near us and in the end Rob went to a hardware store down the street during nap time. Whatever works at this point, right? We still had as much fun decorating it.
