Bellecour
Oh man. We had such a busy week. We were all home Monday night then not again until Friday. I am a HUUUUUUGE introvert so weeks like these really drain me. Thankfully we swung the other way this weekend and did almost nothing. Consider me recharged!
Marlo brought this gem home one day. R-L: Kappy, Harriet, Marlo, Me, Steph. In the front, in black, is a bowl. Maybe we're all sharing soup.

Swimming was another big hit with both kids.

Marlo's teacher is just excellent with these kids.

I didn't get to see Kasper's class as usual but he was the only kid in class so he had a private lesson! The time I did see him he was doing the "backstroke" and was mostly in a controlled drown. He tries his hardest, it's so awesome. It wears the guy all the way out.

Wednesday was a potluck for Kasper's class at a park. I never saw him until it was time to go home! I think almost the whole class was there and they obviously all get along famously. Marlo, on the other hand, wouldn't leave our sides. All night. Which was great considering it was also our 9th wedding anniversary! MARLO. Oh well, we didn't have any plans anyway.

We went out to Wayzata yesterday to try the new bakery/restaurant Bellecour. It was very delicious and such a neat place. Even these yahoos liked it.

We went down to Lake Minnetonka but Marlo kept falling and ended up with a bloody hand and couldn't recover.

Today Rob ran the Twin Cities 10 Mile race and it rained almost the whole day, so aside from Rob taking the kids out to see a steam train we heard (literally) passing through town, we ran errands and mostly entertained ourselves indoors. The kids did go outside for an hour or so before dinner and had the best time ever riding bikes and skateboards and scooters.
And now it's now and another week looms ahead. Thankfully it looks less chaotic for us. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
