Solo Adventures!
We had a fun week of solo adventures! Kasper spent the first half of the week at sleep-away camp and had the most perfect weather of the summer.
Marlo had a field trip Monday and brought Grandma Sandra!

After the field trip Marlo went up to St. Cloud to spend most of the week with Grandma!

Rob and I managed to fill our free evenings with movies, Twins games, etc and before we knew it, it was Wednesday and time to pick Kappy up from camp.

Sounds like they had a great time! They had good food, slept well, did lots of activities. Kasper's least favorite part was having to jump in the lake first thing in the morning. He was also homesick a bit each day and at this point feels like the half week option is plenty.
All the kids were back by Thursday and by Friday it was back to business as usual as Kasper tested for his red belt with BLACK stripe.

Yesterday we ran some errands then Marlo finally got to go on the "walk to the park with snacks" she's been begging for.

I went up to St. Cloud last night to see one of my dearest friends before she and her family set off on a new adventure living abroad.

Meanwhile Rob helped to stage a big 40th bday surprise party for another of our oldest friends.

With the dust settled on a week of individual adventures, it feels so nice to finally have all 4 of us under one roof for the first time in more than a week. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
