Palm 2023
Spring Break 2023 is in the books! We flew out to Palm Springs last week and lucked out again with the weather. With the exception of a windy/dusty day, it was perfect and sunny and a mix of hot days and not so hot.
We stayed in the same house we stayed in last year and really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, pickleball court, putting green, disc golf basket and basketball hoops.
The sunset of our first full day.
We had another hummingbird nest ourside our door this year! When we first noticed it, there were some broken eggshells in there and something that may have been a baby hummingbird. By the end of the week we could see the baby! The nest was about the size of a cupped hand, for scale.
We always take the kids down to El Paseo for Jamba Juice and car watching. We saw 2 Lamborghinis and a Ferrari so we did good.
Rob and Kasper also rented Bird scooters one afternoon.
Marlo wasn't feeling her best.
We did an escape room and got out!
Marlo worked hard on flips and handstands.
Rob and I walked down to the Polo Club where they are setting up for Coachella next weekend!
The baby hummingbird! It looks big but I think it has to be about as big as a blueberry.
We had to be out of the house by 11 on our last day and didn't have to be to the airport until 4 so we decided to try out the Palm Springs Zoo. HIGHLY recommend it. It was a lot of fun to spend the day at. They had a ton of animals and it wasn't very busy.
We had quite possibly the most painless trip home yet and were in our car by about midnight which is hours earlier than usual.
