Happy Halloween!
Is everyone else drowning in candy!? Good to see Halloween is still alive and kicking around here.
Back to the beginning of the week - my friend Erin sent me a pic of this vintage Kevin Williams Vikings jersey she found at Goodwill. I totally found one on eBay and in 2 days we had it here. How fun, right?! Kasper loves it. Anyone remember the Williams Wall of Vikings yore?

After belt testing, a couple rewards are given out in tae kwon do. Kasper won for board breaking! He was SO PROUD. I think I put that video up last week - you can tell he looked pretty legit.

Halloween! Marlo didn't want to do her Spider Girl move for me. I'm including this picture because this is 100% a Marlo look. Post- foot stomp, downward extended arms, clenched fists, and everything.

There we go!

That was her pumpkin I carved last weekend.
Harry Potter and Spider Girl ready to trick or treat!

The annual trick or treating group.

A lazy interloper who apparently needed a ride.

The kids sprinted the entire night. Marlo fell down pretty epically but got up and kept sprinting! It was a beautiful night - not too cold - and we covered more ground than ever before I think. Their buckets were so heavy the parents carried them.

Friday was Dia de los Muertos at school and they set up a little altar.

We had an almost entirely free weekend. I can't remember the last time that happened. Marlo had a birthday party to go to. She's getting way more comfortable at parties which we are all loving. The secret with our kids in almost any group situation is to be the first. They don't like joining an already formed group. All that to say we're easing her in to parties and making it comfortable for her and she's having a great time!

She even swung at a piƱata. Never would've guessed she'd go for that.

And she allowed her FACE TO BE PAINTED.

(Still Spider Girl)

Kasper and I stayed home and cooked and played games. He wasn't on screens and was so much fun. Today was more of the same. Kasper and Rob went on a run/bike in the rain then we got to watch the Vikings game pretty close to the actual time! We're still adjusting to the new time so the kids were in bed a little early but it I think we'll all be recharged and ready to face another week. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
