Happy Halloween!
I forgot to include these pictures last week but Kasper and I carved a pumpkin for Halloween.

We really got in the spirit of the season.

That's a lot of Marlo in a pumpkin hat, but MAN she's just so darn cute.

I was camera happy this week.

We play a game called "Uh oh" in the tub. The kids knock or throw cups over the side of the tub and we all say "UH OH!" It's not all that fun as the person outside of the tub but Marlo loves it so we play.

UH OH!

Kasper had conferences this week so his room was closed at daycare and he got to stay home! He wanted Marlo to go to school so it would be a special day for just him. Off she went and about an hour later Kasper was missing her. He missed her the whole day. Rob stayed home in the morning and the guys played outside all morning. His conference was before lunch so we headed over and got all the good news on him. He's such a good boy. It sounds like he's always willing to help his classmates and the teachers. He's very welcoming to the new kids - especially the girls (raising eyebrows emoticon). He needs to work on his listening. Both at school and at home. We stopped for lunch before heading home for nap. I was reminded just how easy it was with one preschooler at home. We got Marlo a little early when Kasper didn't want to wait anymore. He was so happy to see her.

She ended up getting some graham cracker spit on a toy so he was mad at her.
Remember all those leaves our parents raked and bagged? Rob hauled them all out to the curb on garbage day. Can you believe how many there were??

I felt bad for the garbage person. I bet that took them 45 minutes to throw all those bags in the truck.
We've started to do a joint story time before Muggins goes to bed. Kasper is often right out of the tub and nude.

This picture popped up on my Timehop app. Kasper totally had that same scrunched up smile!! I had forgotten.

Daycare had a little pumpkin patch and the kids could each pick one to take home.

Marlo is thrilled. And looks like a boy.
Testing out the Halloween costumes

This is Kasper's third year in this costume. When I tell people that they feel bad for him - like we're making him wear the same thing every year! It's 100% his choice! We had to tell him this is the last year. You can tell how short it's getting if the feet aren't hooked over his shoes. Also, Marlo looks like a boy again. And Lois is not amused.
The kids got to wear their costumes to school! Kasper was SO excited and couldn't wait to get to school. Marlo cried when Rob put her monkey top on but ended up keeping it on the whole day!

We had an early pizza dinner Friday night and Kasper could not wait to go trick-or-treating. We didn't know when we should head out - we got out the door around 6 which was just about perfect! I think we went earlier last year and there weren't many kids out. We go to a neighborhood nearby because our neighborhood doesn't do Halloween! It's kind of sad!

Marlo and I went for a little bit but it was cold and she was tired.

The boys got home around 8 and I guess they had a great time! Kasper's costume was too tight he couldn't lean down and get the candy from the houses that left out bowls. He laid down to get candy! Hahahahahaha! I still giggle looking at these pictures.

Finally, a house that was considerate to the kids in too tight costumes.

Going through all his loot.

Check this out.

The day after Halloween means candy for breakfast. And sisters that don't give you much space.

Yesterday was a very lazy day. Marlo and I never left the house! The boys played outside. Rob accidentally knocked Kasper over so he was in the service station for a tune up.

Marlo pulled this out
Kasper pulled this out
We were a little nervous about daylight savings time ending last night but both kids slept until at least 7 this morning! That was 13 hours for the little miss. Soon after we woke up and had breakfast it was clear we needed to get outside and move a bit. We headed towards the same trail we went to last weekend. We wanted to go back and implement the new adventure rule of always seeing Mama and Papa. Kasper did a really good job following that rule, thankfully. Also, notice how he is always wearing shorts? All of a sudden he INSISTS on wearing shorts. We usually let him wear shorts in the house but he threw a fit about wearing them on our adventure. I even had him stand out on the deck in the 46 degree weather but he swore he wasn't cold so off we went.

Marlo immediately fell asleep.

Good thing Rob brought a backpack full of warm clothes for when Kasper finally admitted it was cold out.

We really are lucky to have so many awesome and beautiful trails so near to us.

Sleeping beauty had a nice hour long nap on her Mama. I finally woke her up when we got back to the car and I took her out of the Ergo.

Cute little guy.
Whew! Another busy week! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
