Palm Springs, Part 1

We were lucky enough to get outta Dodge this spring break! We went West to Palm Springs with my family and it was AMAZING.

He was so excited to put shorts on immediately upon getting off the plane.



We got in around dinner time so we swung by pizza and wine shops and headed to our home for the week.

Our house had a pool, hot tub, outdoor living room and FRUIT! The grapefruits, lemons and limes were amazing. The oranges were over ripe and pretty gross. We were sure spoiled with the ability to walk outside and pick fresh citrus. Wouldn't that be the life??

The kids woke up at 4:30 the first morning which is their usual 6:30 MN time. Ouch.

Our first day was spent getting into vacation mode, grocery shopping, watching March Madness on the outside TV, swimming, etc. The kids had a great time in the pool and hot tub,





Every single morning.


Rob and I hiked up the mountain across the street almost every morning. It was one of the things I was looking forward to most about the trip and it didn't disappoint! Here's the start of our first outing.
