Spring Break!

We were supposed to be in Palm Springs for Spring Break this week but alas we were not. We miss it so much and hope we can get back there next year. 

We wanted to at least do something for Spring Break and when we talked to some friends a couple months ago, it sounded like others were feeling the same. So we all decided to go up to Lutsen for a long weekend and do some skiing! 

We headed up Thursday morning stopping in Duluth for lunch. Kasper ordered the ribs.

We made it up around dinner time. We met up with the other families and sat in the hot tub then the kids ran wild for hours. They crashed every night. 

There was a lot of snow on the ski runs but not much otherwise! I am not a seasoned skier by any means, but even I could tell a difference between winter skiing and spring skiing. It was kind of nice it was melty because it slowed the kids down a bit. We found ourselves on a family black diamond at one point and made it down no problem! Even Marlo! 

Rob brought costumes.

On day 2, Marlo was kind of done. We did a TON of skiing the first day and that was about as much as she could handle. She was a trooper though. 

We came back to our condo for lunch which was a nice break.

 

It was almost 70 and sunny yesterday! 

These kids were such a delight. They all played so well together! They were pretty much self sustainable the whole weekend. 

The Easter Bunny found us at Lutsen this morning! Rob and Kasper did a couple last runs before we headed home around 11am! 

We had such a fun weekend! Hope everyone had a great weekend and a Happy Easter as well!
