Spring days

 It's warming up around here, the grass is getting green, tulips are blooming. I've always thought fall was my favorite season in MN but Spring is right up there. There's a lot of hope and promise in a MN Spring and we'll take all we can get! 

This week was pretty average for April though: cool, overcast and rainy -- even some snow. All things considered it was pretty average for us too.  The sun finally came out yesterday so we spent a lot of the day at a park where we could all do what we wanted. I walked a couple miles, the kids played on a playground and Rob threw a bunch of frisbees at a disc golf basket. 

We all found some money at the park. Some more than others.

Today was another beautiful day! The kids and I went for a long bike/walk and it was just gorgeous outside! Marlo of course rode most of the way with a stick in her hand. She tried to add a larger stick at one point but couldn't control her bike.
