Memorial Day
Kasper's homework project this week was to make a monster from a drawing he did in class. Of course his monster had 60 legs. It was a fun project for the parents and it turned out cool, I think! His name is SeƱor Tres Cabezas (Mr. Three Heads).

Marlo threw a fit with her bike.

Someone got a new haircut. And aged 10 years.

She's been crazy lately.

Beach Day at school! How was Rob able to get these playground pictures on beach day? Because we totally forgot it was beach day so Rob had to go get Kasper's swimsuit and bring it to school. Obviously we weren't the only parents to forget but I felt SO BAD we forgot since it's an end of the year fun day. It all turned out ok because Rob got to spend some time with Kasper and his friends! He even stayed for lunch!

The kids and Rob went up to St. Cloud on Friday so Rob could run a race on Saturday morning and I could have an afternoon of pampering! Rob won his age group and I enjoyed a morning by myself. Rob came back Saturday afternoon and we went shopping for some remaining plants then we went out for dinner! What freedom! It was a beautiful night.

Grandma Sandra brought the kids down yesterday afternoon and Kasper basically went right over to Jack Snow's house which he was VERY excited about. We then had the Snows over for dinner last night which was a great way to kick off summer.
This morning the kids got to meet their new baby cousin! Kasper was, of course, instantly obsessed with her. Marlo warmed up surprisingly quickly.

Harriet is such a good baby! She doesn't make a peep!

(Notice Kasper so close to whoever is holding her he puts his hand on their shoulder)

He would've stayed here all day.

Kasper's hand.

Tonight we had Grandpa Steve, Carol and Carol's son Brian over for dinner! Both kids took a big shine to Brian which was fun. And now we're exhausted and need a vacation after the holiday weekend.
Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend!
