Christmas!
Finally Christmas Eve! It seems like Christmas is always so far away then all of a sudden it's here and gone. Time is weird like that, isn't it?

The "kids" went for a walk in the snow before dinner to stretch our legs. It was pretty nice out this year!

The kids ripped open all their gifts first.

Guess what Marlo's favorite gift was. (Hint: it's a wearable)

Kasper and Marlo Charlotte with Great Grandma Charlotte!

Thought Kasper was going to write a note for Santa. Turns out it was a warning for all of us.

Santa came! And brought Kasper just what he wanted!

Then back over to Grandma Sandra's for Christmas morning! Santa brought Marlo and Bebe just what they wanted as well.

Back over to Grandma Viv and Grandpa Tim's for Christmas dinner!

Monday morning we met most of the Mothers and Daughters for a short but sweet get together. Tuesday morning we loaded the car back up (minus the 4 enormous boxes of gifts we put in Grandma Sandra's car for later) and headed home! I think the kids were happy to see their own beds.

Marlo went to daycare and Rob worked most of Wednesday and Thursday. I went to work Wednesday morning. Otherwise we were busy taking the Christmas decorations down, putting Christmas gifts away, doing mountains of laundry. Kasper and I did manage to sneak away one day to see Sing! in the theater! It was Kasper's first movie theater movie and he did great! I don't know that he loved the movie but he didn't hate it and we didn't have to leave early so it was a win!
We were all home Friday. We did a good job entertaining ourselves.

Marlo wanted to play "little koala" which meant she had to be literally clinging to us at all times.

Marlo was putting my hair in a ponytail. How did she do?

Kasper had a great time sledding and we feel lucky to have a driveway for a hill! And, after several runs like this, helmets.

A true girly girl.

And she's off.

Hope everyone had a great New Year! Stay tuned to hear about ours. Spoiler alert, it was a BIG DAY!
