Party time!
Kasper and I began the week with the day off in honor of MLK Jr. He (Kasper, not Dr. King) went in to work with Rob for the morning then hung out at home with me. He also went to tae kwon do and got his black tip which means he can test for his next belt! He was SO excited.

Marlo biked around in the rain while we were out.

She no longer asks for a paci. It took about 2 days which was far less painful than I anticipated. It does take her longer to go to sleep but the threat of taking Kasper out of the room has been enough to get her to lie quietly while she falls asleep.

There's Kasper. This is probably the first night where he didn't fall asleep in 2 minutes and she did.

My parents came down Friday night for pizza and a sleepover. Aunt Steph introduced Marlo to the wonders of Snapchat. Unsurprisingly it took her a few minutes to warm up to it.

The kids got outside a bit yesterday. It has been a super foggy, humid, melty weekend. They were soaked to the skin.

Single swing problems.

Warming up

Yesterday was Kasper's birthday party! He celebrated with 31 friends at his tae kwon do studio! It was SO MUCH FUN.

The studio did EVERYTHING. We just showed up. They had bounce houses for when the kids were arriving, then ordered and served pizza and cake. It was so incredibly stress free.

The little beast even got to break a couple boards

His loot.

Playing with the loot

Our day today was pretty chill! We played with toys, watched some football and had dinner with Grandpa Steve and Carol. Hope everyone had a great weekend! And to anyone that marched yesterday, wherever you are, strong fist bumps and huge respect.
