Lost Lake Lodge

We spent last weekend up at Lost Lake Lodge! I'm putting all the pictures here so settle in.

We didn't leave until lunch time so we got to enjoy a rare midweek breakfast at home.


We got up there around 4 and hopped right in the lake.























We had a lovely rainbow welcome!



Funny story - Rob got himself an Old Fashioned while we were playing down by the lake after dinner. He was raving about how good it was then ran over to the tetherball pole where Kasper and I were playing, slipped and fell down to the ground spilling half of his drink but making a valiant effort. We laughed and laughed and laughed. Then Kasper hit the tetherball which went around the pole and bopped the bottom of Rob's drink spilling most of what was left. Oh it was so funny.

The boys got really into fishing on this trip. Way more than previous years.

I was so impressed with the kids this year. Kasper was AMAZING at taking out all the boats and paddling himself. Marlo was good at putting her life jacket on and going with the flow.

We rented the pontoon Saturday morning!
























Lost Lake Regatta! Organized, refereed and won by Mr. Kasper Williams! (Rob was fastest but tipped over in the middle of the lake trying to squeeze every last ounce of speed from that canoe. As they say, if you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much space!)

It rained all day Sunday which made it easier to head for home. Until next year!
